The typical user should not have to worry about setting up any program associations in ProjectWise Explorer. In most cases your administrator will have already configured the Applications list in the datasource; if you have the corresponding applications installed on your computer and the documents you want to open are associated with that application (as described in the previous section), then there should be nothing additional you need to configure.

If you need to override the default global program associations for the application called “Bentley View” in the datasource, you can do so from ProjectWise Explorer. For details, open the ProjectWise Explorer help and find the topic, “Customizing Program, Extension, and Icon Associations.”
